WILLIAM ALATALO

I am William Alatalo and in 2024 I drove with Lazarus in Italian GT Championship. My car was an Aston Martin GT3. It was my first year in GT cars for. I managed to be on the podium 3 times and finished 4th in the Standings for Sprint races. I also drove the FIA Formula 3 series in 2022. I was 18th in overall standings as a rookie driver. Best driver in my own team. In 2021 I drove the Formula Regional European Championship series and after a challenging season I ended up being 11th in the series with one podium. In 2020 I drove Formula Renault Eurocup series, in 2019 I drove the Italian Formula 4 Championship, which is one of the most competitive Formula 4 series in the world. I also took part in FIA Motorsport Games, which is the Olympic race of motorsport and finished 3rd.

In 2018 I was elected to be a Olympic Committee Elite Athlete. I was one of the first 5 motorsport drivers that has ever been an Elite Athlete in Finland. It has been a true honor.

 

2009-2016 I won Finnish karting championship 3 times. And countless races in European/World championships.

I live in Ilmajoki Finland and train in Kuortane Sport Institute. My hobbies are also Tennis, Badminton, Ping Pong, Padel, Running, Cycling and Simulator driving.
